This does work fine on my laptop and is a basic office clone, but in all honesty I’d rather just pay a little more if you have to and get Microsoft office. That way you wouldn’t get any compatibility issues and and other issues that may arrive in future. If this was a fraction of the price then maybe I could see a need for it, but at this price even with the online storage I’d rather pay extra for the genuine software.

To be able to Recieve a lifetime subscription for the price currently is unbelievably inexpensive, I’d expect to and have paid more for similar for only 1 year the fact that I’m able to access my spreadsheets and files to be able to create and use my presentational work is stellar! It would have been good to be able to use on at least 2 say P.C and Laptop but that’s me being picky I can’t fault the price of the product key for the lifetime use regardless of my preferences, it’s still worth every single penny and then some.

I was looking forward to testing this software alongside my MS office for comparison but it will not install if office is installed. This is pretty poor software design; I am an IT engineer by trade and I have used other free open-source versions of office and had no problems running the two side by side. I am not going to go in to trying to fix the product to try and make it work, it simply isn’t worth my time to try and test it as flawed software, I shouldn’t have to debug to get it to work for testing. I cannot recommend it the software from what I can see the only difference between other free for life office software online and this product is the cloud storage and the support that is offered with this product, which at £72.99 is quite steep for support and for a small bit ‘cloud’ storage (which also relies on the company being around for “life” to continue working) I can’t comment on other features in the software that might unlock with this licence as it didn’t work. I won’t be recommending this to my commercial customers, but if you are a domestic user that has no other office installed then your mileage may vary.

Office suite home and business 2023 is a decent alternative to ms office for a lot less. I tried many office alternatives so far and I always end up going back to ms because its the most feature rich and familiar. Office suite looks almost like ms office, and I bet less savvy users could tell the difference. My biggest issue is with their word processing software which is quite a bit behind ms word. Dont get me wrong its still capable but it doesnt offer much more than ms wordpad the little FREE sibling of ms word. if you want this solely for the word software I would advise against buying this. But there is a lot more to it than word processing and altogether youre getting a good deal with this package - in my opinion. Lifetime ms office starts from around £110 and thats without the emailing app. I think its best suited for small businesses who dont need to do to much office tasks but want something decent and compatible with ms solution. What needs serious improvement in my opinion is the lack of settings. As in program settings. There is literally nothing you can set, cant really customize the office to your needs. So one star is lost there.

    Not a true MS O.S.

If it really is for lifetime then it is good , gives basic functions which is good as I really dont use all the functions on office and I feel I am wasting money. I am glad to cancel the monthly subscription.

You can find the level entry versions free online, but this is a lifelong licence for the full versions, which in themselves offer viable clones of Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint, as well as a pdf annotator. Not bad for 70-odd quid. I installed easily on my desktop mini, which had no software on it other than the free stuff bundled with Windows 11. Dont expect miracles, but this is decent and offers good productivity at a fair price.

Had trouble getting it to run when first installed. Tech support could not seem to help. Friend said to uninstall Microsoft Office, which came with the computer, and then it worked.

The fact that a lot of the features for these products are available for free, i dont think its worth the extra money for what you get in addition. The plus point is that this is a lifetime subscription, unlike Microsoft Office which is usually for a finite time. I didnt have any issue installing this package.
