The silent fan is great for about a week, after that the noise is unbearably loud. It sounds like a ps4 that sat out in 120 degree weather. I swear when I power this thing on the fan sounds like the airport is next store. My girlfriend has said she can hear it from the other room.

At first I thought this was a great but until after three times using it and the winding noise from the fans turning on was so loud that I couldn’t hear the game I was playing.

I love this! I have been using it for a couple of months now and it works fantastic! Keeps my controllers organized and changed without having all sorts of cables everywhere.

I have tried 5 different cooling stands and this is by far the worst one. The problem with this cooling stand is that the fans are in the back area of the ps5, the back area is where the ps5 is at its hottest, so what that means is that this cooling stand is taking out the hot air from the back area, but since the back area is the hottest part of the ps5, it just makes the back area even hotter! It could just be doing more harm than good. Check out the Nexigo product that comes with dual fans, that is the best one I have tried out of all 5 cooling stands.

At first the added cooling from the fan intake actually reduces the overall noise level of the system. After about a month or so, the fans started making a really awful sound at full speed. I have to turn them down a notch or two, decreasing their effectiveness. Im going to take it apart and see if I can add some machine oil to the fan bearings to quiet it down. If nothing else Im hoping theyre standard 40mm fans so I can replace them with Noctuas. Im sure that will increase efficiency and drastically lower volume. As far as a controller charger, vertical stand, and game holder, though, its great.

Fan sound is overwhelming while playing the system or in sleep mode. So you can’t use the charger for the controllers.

Over the years Ive bought so many cooling fans, console stands, controller charges, and this one beats them all. It is a perfect fit, super easy to set up, and Im really happy with the stand so far. The fan has 3 speeds, and I can barely hear it on the highest speed. The controllers seat into the charging station so easily, and the slot for the external hard drive is super convenient. I dont have a ton of space where I store my ps5, so I really appreciate the game storage being tucked into the stand if you dont want to use it. Im always skeptical of stands that use the console to power them, so I have plugged mine directly to an outlet, and its working great so far. If youre on the fence about buying this stand, please give it a shot, its worth it just for the controller charging stations and the storage alone, in my opinion.

My son and his friends love this gaming system. It keeps them occupied and off the street.
