The brightness is what I expected.

I just received these today and the two bulbs are out of the same box I had a bout 4 to 5 that looked like they were used and the others were crystal clear. And as far as the bright near and the longevity I will not verify that because I just put one of the clear ones in my salt lamp.

Runs a little warm, however, the lantern its in has vents, so not too bad.

The bulbs dont melt the wax completely which is disappointing. I have only tried one so far so I dont know if the others will work better.

We use this bulb in the bottom of our microwave to shine on the black range top. We leave it on continuously. It serves as a night light for our kitchen area.

I bought these because they were exactly what the warmer said to use. They dont seem to emit enough heat to quickly melt the wax though. May just be my wax warmer
