You get what you pay for! The cheap blades are not worth wasting your money, the OLFA is the best and lasts the longest

I just got this order, but we use this brand all the time. Theyre sharp and the edge lasts a reasonably long time.

I have been using my Olfa cutting tool so needed to replace the blade. This multi-pack was priced very reasonably so that is why I purchased this particular package. If I knew I would have a lot of time to do a lot of sewing, quilting etc I would have purchased the larger package but this seemed like a reasonable place to start.

I cut fabric strips for quilt tops. I started with Fiskars rotary cutters, but they wobbled and skipped on me. Olfas are more reliable, but like any razor-sharp tool the blades dull and need to be replaced--pretty frequently. Replacement rotary blades in big box fabric stores in my city have become outrageously expensive, and rarely can I find a 5pk. It was a no brainer for me

These are my favorite rotary cutter blades. They stay sharp for longer and are machined well so there are no irregularities on the edges. I will continue to buy these until someone convinced me there is a better product out there!

Ive bought off market brands for my Olfa - never again. Olfa brand is all I will use! Off brand doesnt last as long or cut as well.

What I disliked about this product is that it is very dangerous to try separating the blades!! They are stuck together like glue and it would be extremely easy to cut yourself badly trying to separate the blades! They should have put something... anything in between to make it easier to get them apart. I fear someone is going to end up in the emergency room from trying to get the blades apart! I had to be extremely careful as I am on blood thinners and at this time, with Covid-19 rampant, it would not be a good time to have to go to the E.R.!

These are not original Olfa blades, no way! I will only buy from local stores going forward. Shameful. 8/6/2020-UPDATED REVIEW I discovered the perfect remedy from a sewing blog regarding these blades. Use soft cotton to remove the oil from blade. Wipe blades gently with small amount of alcohol and dry using soft cotton. Blades will perform as expected.

Olfa replacement rotary blades are the very best. When you pay good money for beautiful fabric you sure dont want to take a chance on messing up when cutting. I comparison shopped all over, brick and mortar stores also, and Amazon is my choice for this product. Quilters were recently discussing using rotary blades for a carpet cutter from a discount hardware provider in lieu of the real thing because the cost was so attractive; not a good idea. Quality tells in the long run.
