This product (I got the silver color) is a very quality looking stand! It has rubber coating where the device sits so if you don’t have a case on it, it won’t scratch where the contact is. It doesn’t swivel up or down without intention. Very good!

The stand is sturdy and good quality metal. I thought when purchasing that there was some type of knob to loosen yo adjust the tilt kf the stand but there isn’t, its just made so can adjust when needed without any use of a knob or anything. With little to no force it will adjust but it also will hold its position well while I have my iPad 8th Gen on it and pressing on the screen and doing so many other thing on the iPad while its on the stand. I couldn’t be happier.

It serves its purpose well. The design, size, adjustability, appearance, and durability are very good. My only complaint is that it is slightly out of square—ie, the piece that holds the tablet tilts slightly to the left, as opposed to being perpendicular to the base. I actually ordered a replacement in hopes that it would be straighter, but it was crooked, as well. I ended up keeping the original and returning the replacement, as I judged the replacement a bit worse. I surmise that the underlying cause may stem from a tooling flaw in the factory. In any event, I’m happy with it—but if you are OCD, you might obsess over the flaw!
