You need to fiddle with it to find the proper angles needed to be able to stably hold whatever device is on it. It can get top heavy and tip over especially when youre tapping on the top part of the phone/tablet. There are better-designed products out there that end up doing a better job.

This phone stand works well for my phone, tablet and Kindle. It accommodates all three in the portrait and landscape positions. The stand is flexible and remains sturdy in most positions.

Bought two because I have the 8k video cord which is greater in diameter than 4k. Really holds in place for streaming movies and work webcasts from my iphone 12 mini.
