This is a very well made stand. It will hold a large iPad Pro with Apple cover securely and comfortably both in the vertical and horizontal orientations. The angle adjusts securely and smoothly to almost all the angles between completely straight up and pretty much any angle. The bottom surface is covered with a sticky pad which holds the stand very securely, but makes it impossible to slide the stand around. The inside of the stand which holds the iPad is covered with patches of silicone like material which prevent scratches. A great value.

I really like how sturdy and wide the base is. The iPad Pro is a little heavier than my previous iPad Air, so this stand makes the use of my iPad Pro easier son my hands.

For its size - great for travel - it’s a pretty sturdy little piece, but position has to be just right for stability. I love it for what it is.
