The product is heavy enough you dont have to worry about it falling over. I have a 13 XPS 2-in-1 (thin) and HP Zbook workstation (thick) slotted into the holder so the claims of it being adjustable are accurate. This product is saving me a lot of deskspace and it looks slick too.

I love how these are heavy duty and perfect size to store my laptops!

La utilizo para poner dos portátiles de +2,5 kg cada uno, el soporte es robusto y pesado con una base antideslizante. Me da seguridad.

Its a very solid aluminum base with rubber non-slip pads. The two sides are adjustable with the provided allen wrench. The only downside for me (but not really) is that once tightened, the sides dont move. I use one side for my 17 laptop and the other for the keyboard when i need to move it out of the way. This is definitely a plus in most situations. My laptop often goes to sleep and cant wake up with external USB, so I have to take it out of the stand and power it up. None of that is the fault of this stand. The stand does exactly what it should.
