Picked this up to vertically mount an M1 Mac Mini (late 2020 edition) to save some space on my desk. This is a really sturdy and reassuringly heavy stand, the silicon pads both inside and on the base mean that neither the device nor the stand itself will shift about. Obviously also works just as well with a laptop, but is the perfect companion for the Mac Mini.

With so much exposed metal around the edges, this will certainly mark your precious machine. I made the mistake of assuming there was some sort of protection, and there is once your machine is within the jaws, but to get it there requires a level of hand steadiness I couldnt muster while holding a £3000 laptop.
