Its just a milled block of aluminum with some padding on the inside and rubber grips on the bottom.

Needed a stand/holder to use my laptap (which will open flat) as a vertical, space-saving monitor to play videos at trade shows. Adjusted to the smallest size--bingo. Its weight will keep folks from knocking my computer over also. Recommend!

I’m using this in my recording studio to vertically hold a small piece of equipment (a compressor). I’ve run out of rack space but have a small spot on my desk open and this fits the bill perfectly.

So far it’s been perfect. Arrived quickly and my laptop fit without even making adjustments. BUT... from looking it over, making adjustments for the fit is super simple. Its sturdy and looks good on my desk.

Il prodotto è molto bello , stabile ed elegante, purtroppo per avendo ordinato lo stesso prodotto acquistato in passato il colore è diverso. Il mio macbook è Space Gray , di conseguenza ho ordinato il supporto grigio invece che silver ....che sarebbe colo argento. In realtà visto dal vivo il supporto ha una tonalità che tira più verso lazzurro che il grigio...peccato.

I use a docked XPS both at work and home, and I close the lid. Ive noticed that using this saves space and ALSO lowers idle temperature, so I suppose air flow is better
