It is very sturdy once adjusted. Adjusting it can be tedious but not bad. The only complaint, if you can call it that, is that there should be some form of protection on the top of each plate to keep from scratching your laptop. As long as you are very careful it may not scratch it but i would have to emphasis very careful. It would be easy to rub the laptop. It seems it would be very simple to have extended the cushion up some. Ill put some thin tape on the top just to be sure.

When we updated our home office we added a monitor so we could dock our laptops. I have a MacBook Pro 13 and my wife a 15 HP Elitebook. This stand worked right out of the box for both. We could adjust it bit, but it really just needs to hold them and we arent rolling around on a ship, so once they are in place they are fine. It is very sturdy and just big enough to safely hold the laptop yet not take up too much room if you were using it on your desk (ours is on the floor). It does have the ability to be adjusted easily if you needed more or less room.

Didnt need to use the wrench to widen the gap for the laptop, it was sized perfectly out of the box. Plenty sturdy and well made. Looks very nice with laptop of the same color, like they were made for each other. Great product!

Se adapta perfectamente al grosor del portátil. En mi caso es un Macbook pro de finales de 2020, que es bastante fino, y no queda nada holgado. De momento no ha rayado nada el portátil.
