Purchased to hold a 2013 MacBook Pro. This is built like a tank. A substantial piece of metal for the price. Computer sits in this and I have no worries about it falling over. Clamps it down nice and sturdy, but also easy to remove to get top the power switch on the computer if I need to. Would purchase again. Great value.

I have a slim HP laptop that I dock occasionally when I need to work with a larger display or attach it to other components. This lets me stand up the computer while its connected to my dock, leaving workspace free on my desk. Seems quite sturdy and includes the allen wrench to adjust the sides.

Easily adjustable to the thickness of your laptop! Very sturdy and has anti scratch paddings to prevent your laptop from scratching. Heavy enough to keep laptop from falling / flipping. Nicely build.
