Great caster for the price, well worth it!

Positive two way locking mechanism. My second purchase.

Excellent, strong, easy rolling, and the brakes work well. Superior to any casters I have gotten from the big boxes and shipping is fast as usual.

These are very sturdy and smooth rolling wheels. The locking mechanism is also easy to access with your foot. I have used these twice now on heavy tool carts I made for my miter saw, planer, etc. These are far better than the similar priced wheels I’ve purchased from the big box stores. Note that if you plan to screw them into wood with wood screws, you will need small fender washers because the mounting holes are a bit large, likely intended for use with bolts instead of screws.

I generally really like these wheels for rolling woodworking shop equipment. Theyre larger and more rugged than the next size down, but not as huge or expensive as another size up. I recently had one of the locking levers twist to the side and get stuck. It freed up with some pliers, and its unclear how much longer it might last, but thats making me wonder about how durable that locking latch is. A little more time till tell.

So far so good. I replaced the casters on an old Kennedy tool box that is loaded down with machining tools. Tool box still rolls smoothly and locks easily. These have heavy gauge steel sides with grease zerts that work great.
