> 24 hourWe own storage units and live next door. This is wired to ding whenever someone drives into the business so we can take a look at who has come onto the property. Works perfectly.

> 24 hourI have three of these now...they really work great. We live at the end of the road and back up to the National Forest. I have one receiver on the upper floor, one on the basement floor, and that allows us to hear it on the main floor as well as the other two. I have two of the transmitters set up in fake bird houses along the long drive and it picks up vehicles as well as large animals. Another transmitter is mounted covering the width of the rear of the house, and this alerts us to bears on the wrap-around porch. I have this receiver and a fourth transmitter covering the access road to my shop and boat, and this is at my sisters house a mile away. You cant go wrong with these!

> 24 hourWorks. Just had to follow the instructions, since this required programming the receiver with each specific sensor unit to enable its operation. As in past use, I also painted my own drab camo coloring on the sensor unit to make it “hide” in the front yard foliage by my driveway where I park the unit (photo). It’d be nice if they just came in that color already. That last one I had lasted almost a decade despite permanent exposure to sun and rain outdoors (along with getting kicked around occasionally by night animals).

> 24 hourThis is a replacement receiver for and Optex driveway alarm that was 20 years old. The quality is remarkable, the 9 volt battery last forever, and we really appreciate knowing when someone comes through our gate. There are false alarms like when a gecko decides to check out the funny looking device.

> 24 hourThis system alarms every time the sun comes up, or goes down, and every time a cloud goes past the sun. Also, as the sun moves, the shadows cast by tall trees on the driveway trips the alarm. So on a intermittent cloudy day the two transmitters that I have are tripped almost continuously all day long. OptexAmerica says they are aware of the problem but have no solution. To be clear, it is not the sun hitting the transmitters, it is the general sunlight changing on the driveway surface. This system might work well indoors, but not anywhere thats sunny! Hard to believe, I agree! Works well at night.

> 24 hourPurchased to notify when someone opened the front door. The alarm actually is in an adjacent building not too far away. We were concerned it would reach the distance going through 3 walls. Luckily it works fine. Simple to install and use.
