ON used to be the only affordable brand. I loved all their products, as they were simple and to the point. I used ONs hydro whey for a long time until I came accross Dymatize ISO100 Hydrolyzed Protein Powder a few months ago. 5lbs of Dymatize hydro whey = $100 VS ON 3.5 lbs = $100. Ive used Dymatize for a few months now and is up to par with ON. Dont pay for what you dont have to: brand name. Dymatize > ON atm imo. Unless ON brings down their prices, I will stay away from them.

Good product I have bought this so many times over the years, but it has become way too expensive, hence the average rating. Their profit margins were still probably fine but now they are just being greedy as this product is now over twice the price that it should be... Their mistake, as myself and many others will no longer be buying at this ridiculous price point. Will find an alternative product at a price thats actually reasonable.

Great flavor, great mixing, and it sits light in your stomach so it wont slow you down. Only downside is how ridiculously expensive it is compared to Optimum Nutrition standard whey protein.

Ive been taking this protein for probably 3 to 4 years and it is my absolute favorite protein. Im lactose intolerant so less calcium the better. The flavor is great. It says 6 to 8 ounces of water but I tend to do 12 ounces and it still tastes fine. Unfortunately it is getting harder to find and becoming more expensive. 30g of protein is pretty spot on. Not too little not to much.

This protein powder is the best powder Ive used as far as settling well on my stomach (very lactose intolerant). Coupled with Silk Almond Milk, it doesnt taste that bad (VANILLA FLAVOR). To be honest, its the smell and after taste that are foul. I would definitely recommend holding your nose while drinking and having some gum for after you drink it, but otherwise its great. It may not be as much of a problem for others, but it is better after it has been chilled. I mix it and put it in the fridge before I workout, and by the time I get home its chilled and the smell wears off a bit. Other than the luxuries, the protein powder does just what it should. I have a high protein/calorie diet so I cant really comment on if this specifically made me gain any weight, but it has helped in DOMS reduction and recovery time. Ill probably try this in another flavor whenever I finish this batch. Look up Consumer Reports of April 2012 article re heavy metal contaminants in protein powders. Youll see that about half of the popular protein powders contain amounts of lead and mercury. This product does NOT. And its got about the best profile of amino acids. It even tastes really good.

I need protein & also use it for use to mix with marilux Stevia & foamer ! Works well!

I drank one serving of this immediately after my workout. Felt half as sore as I usually do. Helped me noticeably recover faster.

3 stars simply for the taste. I ordered Velocity Vanilla and it just tastes weird. Is this because of added vitamin or nutrients? Just really weird tasting.

I have been using this protein for a year and a half. It is by far my favorite. It is high quality and mixes into liquids well without making your drink too thick, and no gritty powdery texture. However, the price has increased from $72-$99. And I recently got a new container of it and the flavor of the vanilla is not the same. My one complaint about this product was that it was a little too sweet, and now I would say it’s not sweet enough. They must have reformulated, but it would be nice if the sweetness level was right in the middle of the old and the new formula. Also, it makes your breath pretty bad so always brush your teeth and tongue right after.
