> 3 dayThe optoma hd39hdr is everything I was hoping it would be. Plenty bright to be able to watch it with some ambient light in the room. Beautiful clear picture. I’m sure for $1000 more you could get a better picture but for $750 I’m extremely happy with it. The only thing I don’t like is when I open different apps( I’m projecting an Xbox I use to stream hbo, netflix, etc.) it switches to a bright blue screen for a couple seconds. Not a big deal but a black screen or nothing would be less annoying. Sometimes I’ll catch a tiny bit of rainbow strobe but very rarely and never enough to bother me. My girlfriend had never noticed any rainbows.

> 3 dayWorks great. Its a good upgrade from my old projector that finally gave out after 3 years of constant use. I have 2 roommates and we all constantly watch shows and movies. My last optima did great, and this one is brighter and better. Def recommend as long as standard HD is all you need not true 4k etc. This projector works great for all my personal visual needs/expectations.

> 3 dayIt has a few flaws but they are few. It takes a little while to set up but it’s not bad at all. My screen is 120 inches but at 13 feet away you can’t get it and smaller than that. This is my third projector and is better than my previous 2 which it should be

> 3 dayI have not yet had the opportunity to use the remote yet but the projector turned out great. I got it to use for movies outdoors and am not disappointed. We hooked up some large speakers and it was just like you were at the drive in.

Greater than one weekI wanted to wait awhile before writing a review on this projector to actually see how it performed in different lighting conditions and give my honest opinion on it. Personally i believe the picture quality is fantastic and the quality stays consistent whether you are creating a 50 inch screen or a 17 ft in your yard. The 4000 lumens performs really good even with a fairly good amount of light coming from outside on a bright day. The only real complaint I have for this projector is that the speaker is not that loud and the sound quality suffers a bit for it and it does not have a built in bluetooth to be able to pair a wireless speaker to it. Overall I honestly beleave its an amazing starter projector with great specs for the price.
