Original DVD Drive Replacement for Nintendo Wii Game Console Plug-and-Play Unit

Was exactly what I needed. Install was easy plays wii games and GameCube games!

Fixed our Wii, and still working!

My Wii stopped reading disks a few months ago. I couldnt find a replacement Wii around here. So I thought I would give replacing the drive a try. It actually worked. I found the instructions on ifixit.com. It all went according to the instructions and the new drive is reading disks and we are back to playing Wii.

Our WII drive stopped working and I followed an iFixIt article to replace it with this one. The repair was not too difficult and the new drive seems to be working great.

I followed the instructions on iFixit website to replace this drive and it was an easy job. Brought the old Wii back to life.

Works great. Some of those screws are tricky hidden under the grippy nubs of the Wii. Got it swapped and works great!

Was a little worried that this wouldnt play Gamecube games but the drive I received works great and plays both Wii and Gamecube games. Super easy to install.

worked perfectly on my original wii. as others have stated, this is NOT NEW. its refurb/rebuilt etc. but for $20 who cares. as long as it works. takes 10 minutes to install. super easy. brought my wii back to life after collecting dust not being used for a few years!

Package arrived in a timely manner. Easy installation. Be very aware of the delicate pins and that they exactly aligned when connecting. The replacement works well and we are able to play the WII again.

Shipment was quick, install was easy and it has been wirking flawlessly for weeks now. Best thing is that the family can once again enjoy game night, just like when they were younger.
