OSTENT Protector Clear Crystal Travel Carry Hard Cover Case Shell for Sony PSP 1000 Game Console

As soon as I opened the package the front flap (which covers the screen) fell off. The rest of the case works fine but I had a hard time snapping it on, as if it were just slightly too small. Also, it feels cheap. I’m it sure if it’ll survive a drop!

Hard to get it closed at first, but once inside its a pretty decent case. Good protection against scuffs, scrapes, scratches and light bumps. I would not trust it for drops, but a good lanyard is the only acceptable solution for that. The only issue Im having is that the rear flap for the UMD door will not stay closed at all, and they flop around and come open, constantly, on both of my cases. I ended up having to use a small piece of clear tape to get them both to stay shut. I also couldnt find a Prime seller, so I had to wait weeks for them to arrive.

The plastic is a bit on the brittle feeling side. But it will protect your PSP. I suspect the hinges on its access covers might be a weak point long run since its made of plastic that can shatter. Overall I like its design. And it will keep the PSP protected enough that its 10 or 12 bucks for this is well worth it even if it will break after one drop of fall off a shelf. But It should protect the unit and take the bullet for it in the fall.

This clear plastic fit my PSP 1000 as advertised but was thin and easily breakable. Decent for the price.

It is a smart idea how they designed it. But not durable by any means for a 9 year old. Let a long be durable for anyone else. Like I said it looks like it was a good idea, but poorly made.

Case definitely fits the PSP prefect the UMD gate cover is a little loose so it pops open ever so often but great value and definitely durable dropped the first day i put it on no cracks nothing broke off so yeah its a good fit the the PSP 1000.

The protector is to small to contain my psp. The description in the product is same as my psp so it appears the wrong size was sent to me. Struggled to fix it and gave up after several frustrating attempts.
