> 3 dayI needed an additional monitor for working away from home. Unfortunately, I missed a previous deal and DID NOT want to spend hundreds of dollars. This product had great reviews and was reasonably priced. The screen arrived quickly and was ready to use once opened. I attach the monitor to my PC and MAC using the USB C port. There is no need additional port required for c charging. The screen is bright and not too large for my backpack. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayThe OUNSHLI 16.1’’ Full HD 1080p Portable Monitor is a cool addition to expand my MacBook Pro portable workspace. PACKAGING & PORTABILITY… The portable monitor is securely packed in “gift” quality packaging that is clean and well designed. (See images attached to this review.) The monitor itself has a built-in protective cover so it can be easily protected when transporting in a backpack or suitcase. Keep in mind, even though it has a protective cover, because of its size I would still make certain that the monitor stays flat when packed and doesn’t have anything unevenly pressing on the monitor. CONNECTING… Connections are straight forward. If you have a full function USB-C connection that integrates charging, data, and video transmission, your connection would be even simpler. In my case, since I’m using on an older MacBook Pro, already connected to an external monitor (connected via Thunderbolt), and I am connecting this portable monitor using the included USB-C cable and charger, and I’m connecting the video source via HDMI. NOTE…When connecting a USB-C power source, either use the included power source, or a power source that can adequately power the portable monitor. When I first connected the monitor, “my own, under powered, USB-C power source was causing the connection to glitch in and out a few times. VIDEO… Using the HDMI Connection, as previously mentioned, I was able to achieve Video “Mirroring” as well as video “Extension” while running two external monitors. (See images attached to this review.) Vert cool! I’ve used for general computing and works perfectly fine for that. I have yet to try it for gaming, but I’m guessing it will perform well.

> 3 dayThis OUNSHLI Portable Monitor is 16.1 and has a great picture. The blacks are deep, the colors are good and it can get pretty bright. Ive used it for movies and gaming and have no complaints. My issue is the case, which cant be removed. Dur to needing to use it as a kickstand, it adds a large footprint that is only being used by air -- why not a kickstand? As well, it is difficult to keep upright when used on the bed if someone moves around. All-in-all, if you are all about the picture and will be placing this in a stable location, this is a great monitor to get. If you are traveling and could be using it in the hotel room , it becomes a little bulky and harder to use, due to the case.

> 3 dayNeeding something for some teaching that I was doing and my 13 MacPro wasnt enough of a screen for sharing. This is a nice size and works really well with my MacPro. Very portable and easy to use. I really like the cover.

Greater than one weekThis is a very nice display for the price. Use with a laptop, desktop PC, or even something like a portable video player or gaming system. Size is good and quality is nicer than I expected. The unit has a small HDMI port but comes with a cable that has a regular size HDMI plug on one end. Longer cables can be purchased if needed for your application but its plenty long enough for me. You can also use a USB-C cable if you have a computer capable of outputting display through USB-C like most newer Apple laptops. Some interesting quirks about this monitor: There are 4 threaded holes to mount a mini PC to the back, or you can use it to mount on a wall or some sort of stand. The only problem with that is the cover that is also used as a stand is glued on to the back so you will need to remove it and once you do that, you would need to re glue it somehow if you wanted to put it back to normal. Other displays like this use a magnet, not sure why they decided to glue it down but its probably fine for most users that use the cover as a stand. Im also not sure why there is a hole in the bottom right of the screen, but its not really a problem. Its just there. One other thing is my monitor didnt come with a remote control which I think is normal. You can change settings using the buttons on the front of the screen but it would be nice if there was a remote with more functions on it for people that tend to adjust their screen settings a lot. Overall, very nice monitor for the price. Works well, easy to set up and use, and fits easily in a backpack along with a laptop for an easy 2 monitor mobile computer workstation on the road.

Greater than one weekI admit I was a little hesitant. Only a few reviews, brand new model and unknown manufacturer. But, hey, I have Amazon Prime, so why not? I can always return it. This is one of the few 16.1 inch monitors out there. Comparing to the 15.6 inch monitors, its one of the cheapest, yet it is bigger viewing area. Its very lightweight (with a plastic housing). Im very happy. The screen is bright enough (250nits) and the contrast is vibrant. They advertise 100% of Adobe RGB, meaning saturated vibrant colors and a dark black point for deep contrast. Most of the cheap 15.6 inch monitors have only 72%. Hookup is a breeze (both USB-c ports are full-featured and they included a wall wart that can plug into either). I am using the wall wart for power since my older laptop does not have usb-c ports. HDMI for picture. The smart stand works very well, though it does seem odd that its cemented to the back of the case instead of making use of magnets like other similar 15.6 inch monitors. Maybe its because the case seems to be made out of plastic rather than steel, like those other monitors. The Vesa mount holes are accessible but awkward because of the mount. Speaking of awkward, the HDMI cable and USB-c power cables stick out pretty far from the side of the unit, making a somewhat untidy setup next to the laptop. Its a minor quibble. Package comes supplied with the monitor, smart stand, usb-c cable, charging wall wart with USB-c to USB-A cable, HDMI cable. Menus are straightforward. Manual is generic, box is generic. Very happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayThis is a great addon, especially if you game as I use it for splitscreen games on my laptop. It has different ways to connect, i havent had any issue with the monitor. It is an easy set up, really just plug and play. the cover is nice and protects the screen when not in use.

> 3 dayThis is a 1080p portable monitor you can travel with to have a mobile office (almost). It is light weight and you could get away with just carrying a couple extra cords (HDMI and USB to type C for power). I was surprised the case was glued to the back of the monitor. I wasnt crazy about that. The larger portable monitor I have has magnetic contacts for the case and I prefer that over glued on case. It was.just the top part that was glued but I still prefer not to have that. Otherwise the case serves its purpose for some protection and a stand for the monitor. There is also a hole in the bottom right corner that you supposedly came place a pen through to use as a stand. I didnt try it and thought if your gluing the case on, why do you need a hole? Picture quality is good and connections are easy to setup. It does have an AC adapter although you can also use the laptops power to power the monitor using the USB A to USB C cord. This way you only need to plug in the laptop. If you use it for some entertainment and play a video or movie, the speakers are on the side and not that powerful. Youll hear alright but its not going to blow you away. Ill mainly use it for productivity as my work is easier done using dual screens and even then a third screen comes in handy at times! When I am not using it, my son likes using it with his Chromebook, perhaps because its a slightly larger screen?

> 3 dayMy programming friends couldn’t believe I still used a big clunky monitor when running VM’s on my MacBook. This thing slides right in with my computer in its travel bag and gives me the extra screen I need while travelling for work. I have ever played around with it and used it with my google chromecast as a portable TV. I highly recommend anyone looking for this solution to get one and the price was actually less then what my friends bought.
