Very different and distinct

Loved it so much I am ordering it again because I lost it somewhere. That parasol went with me to the Virgin Islands and I have many fond memories of it. Many people stop me to admire it and when it was mislaid, I was forlorn. So much so, that I just ordered another one. I have the red and cream (which is more of a salmon or red-orange color ruffle with a creamy sunscreen. Good for sun (I live in New Orleans) and in the rain. LOVE it!

Being sensitive to the sun, and living in an area with hot summers, I like to carry a parasol on sunny days to protect my skin. I was looking for a new one, and this one caught my attention right away. Its super cute, it suits my own style, and its very well made; it has a steel frame that doesnt bend or bow in the wind. Although its listed as a parasol/umbrella, I dont use it in the rain, as I dont want the delicate trim along the top of it to get wet. As I just needed a parasol though, it suits my purpose perfectly. Its great for those who are sensitive to the sun, like me, in addition to being a lovely and unique fashion accessory.

I think the best part about this umbrella is how sturdy it is. Due to the fact that in order to open it you have to slide the runner really far up the shaft, the ribs feel extremely rigid which would indicate brittleness, but the pipes themselves are actually quite strong. It comes with an easy release button on the runner, so theres not much strength required to get it to open or close. The ruching/ruffles on the actual canopy are made of something similar to, but more waterproof than, satin. I feel like some colors just dont match well with the black ruching, but black ruching on a black canopy looks just fine, so I recommend that color.

I love this parasol, and use it to block the Florida sun. I am complimented all the time. My only complaint is partially my fault, partially manufacturing. I like to store my umbrellas with the hook looping and hanging from the oh crap bar in my SUV. Florida heat + closed car + the glue they use to attach the handle = handle fell off. A quick epoxy mix later, and Ive had no more issues. I purchased mine for regular use, if youre buying for a wedding or cosplay, you should have no problems, if the quality is consistent!

I got two and both came with the hooks on the handles broken off. However, theyre super cute and still usable. They also needed a little assembly.

The parasol is super cute and kept the blazing sun off of me. 10/10 would recommend.

The bottom curve of the handle was broken off and missing entirely when I received the package. The replacement arrived undamaged, and I really do like the way it looks. If you get one, and the top doesnt do that neat pagoda thing, just fiddle with it for a bit, to get the little spring up at the top to engage.
