I purchased this for the footrest on my bar stools. The size is deceiving because the measurements is not for the opening but for the top and it is so stiff that you can’t open it to put in place. Very hard plastic with not give.

Easy to size for the chair rail, easy to cut, and easy to install. The wife has a new dining set and wanted protection for the footrest. We found these online, ordered them, cut them to size, and they are just what she wanted.
