My husband managed to drop my favorite water bottle down 2 flights of concrete steps at a museum and broke the lid, so I went on a search for a new water bottle. I was about to buy the same brand/style that was broken, but this came up as a suggested alternative and I started reading the reviews. I liked what I saw, so I gave it a shot. The mouth on the actual bottle is very wide, so there was no issue getting ice into the bottle straight from the ice dispenser on my refrigerator (the old bottle had a narrow mouth and the ice had to go in one piece at a time). I also wasnt sure Id like the Chug/Sip feature, but I actually love it. It is nice to have the option on one bottle without changing lids. I also like that it has a handle that can be flipped down so it is easy to carry around with me (I have 5 kids and my hands are, literally, always full, so a handle is critical on my bottles!) Finally, and probably most importantly, it keeps my water COLD for a really long time. I filled the water bottle to take to the trampoline park with my kids yesterday morning. I picked it up today to dump out and put in the dishwasher and there is still ice in it and the water is freezing cold. My old bottle was nice and all, but could never keep ice for over 24 hours! All in all, I am really happy with this bottle and glad Amazon knows me better than my husband when it comes to things I like! Just kidding, babe! Kinda...

This is the water bottle that will have you writing reviews. First, it doesn’t leak. It spent the afternoon rolling around in the bottom of my messenger bag, and it still didn’t leak. Second, the built in straw works. As in its a pleasure to drink from it. You don’t have to use a lot of effort, you are able to pull up a steady amount of water and you can drink ALL of the water from the bottle through the straw. The 24 ounce just fits in the cup holder of my 2012 RAV4. I drink room temperature water, so I can’t speak to the quality of keeping liquid cold but other reviews have addressed that. What I can say is I had no idea I could love a water bottle. This is now a must have in my life.

This is now my favorite water bottle! The only problem is that it sometimes spills when I open it for some reason but doesn’t happen too often for it to bother me

I wasnt really looking for a new water bottle, but after a couple of large leaks by my very basic college issued bottle, I wasnt completely indifferent when I came across an article describing the perfect water bottle. Unfortunately my very brief search hasnt found the article again so I cant give proper credit to the writer. I did, however, find many reviews reinforcing my opinion, thus I wont go into that because you can find multiple better written reviews. I will say that I didnt understand the sip function via the integrated straw. I assumed when I tilted the bottle to swig (Im using the articles own definitions), water would spill via the straw. So I was delighted when I used the small sip hole and I got a small amount of water the same as a cup with a large external straw. I have to admit this justified the purchase of the bottle because when in the car or places with restricted headroom, I dont have to turn the bottle over to drink as I did with my other bottle. So that is my take on this bottle, so far it meets expectations.

This water bottle is probably my favorite bottle I’ve ever owned based on function alone. The bottle keeps ice water cold pretty much all day at work. The flip handle and cap took a little while to adjust to because I’m constantly trying to open the lid when the handle is blocking it. The only reason I deducted a star was because the color combo just isn’t right. The OD green is awesome and got it based on that but the blue just is weird. I get comments all the time about the bottle and how the choice of blue with it is stupid. I don’t disagree, it is stupid. If you’re listening Owala, please make a green bottle with a neutral color to compliment it, the blue ain’t workin. That is all.

This is my favorite water bottle ever! This thing is large and in charge, and I love it. It is very durable, easy to clean, holds a lot of water, and never leaks - ever! Buy this water bottle you will not regret it in the least. I have a 24oz and 40oz, will definitely buy the 32oz as well.

My friend recommended this water bottle and I didnt think it would be much different than any other water bottle Ive owned, but I live this water bottle. I love the straw feature, its so easy to drink water from. The colors are nice. We have the 40 oz, 32 oz and 24 oz. I love the 24 oz the most because it fits in the cup holder in my car, but we use all sizes and my kids asked for their own because they liked mine so much.

After buying and trying over a dozen different brands and types, I’m actually drinking water thanks to the 40 oz Owala water bottle! My total with the Owala 2 in 1 bottle & straw brush was about $56, but if you’re not as picky about which color to choose, some color schemes may be on sale for less. It’s absolutely the best investment, because I’m no longer searching for something better. Just before this water bottle, I’d just bought a really cheap 64 oz motivational water bottle on Ali, and although it made me want to drink more, there were gross brown spots stuck in the plastic. The straw reeked of chemicals despite numerous washes, but even after I ditched the straw, every gulp of water tasted like plastic and it seemed unhealthy, so I ditched it. I could name the types of bpa free plastic water bottles I’ve tried, the built-in filter types, and the various stainless steel ones I’ve tried, but the bottom line is that the Owala ACTUALLY keeps water cold, whether it’s been sitting on my bedside table all night or if I leave it in the hot car, I can rely on cold water the next time I use it. The only caveat is that I had to purchase a special cup holder for the car, but I’m actually drinking water and don’t need to resort to drinking a case of sparkling water in order to stay hydrated. Since I’ve begun drinking about 80 oz of water a day, I’ve stopped getting headaches and heart palpitations later in the day. I also started losing stubborn weight and haven’t made any other changes in my life. Coincidence?

I love love this water bottle. I aspire to only refill it twice a day. The only downside is i’m drinking so much more I have use the restroom a lot
