> 24 hourIt’s slow. Very slow. It is not worth the money and is the exact experience I have had with every OWC drive. They are cheap for reason because they don’t design them to perform the way Samsung for example does.

> 24 hourUp graded my Mac and it runs sooooo much faster. Had a mid 2011 17” Mac book pro. Only reason for capacity rating lower is because it’s a 250 gb

> 24 hourthe videos on OWC didnt help because I needed the model #. It wasnt simple take off cover ; etc. My hard drive was bolted on top & required unbolting it only by taking everything out. This video from Youtube helped a lot - so check your model # two. <<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVVecO5CNX0>> by Binh Repaired. I was fortunate to have someone to assist me. The results are fantastic & like a new Mac mini. I also installed max ram. Before doing this I tried to see if Geek Squad where I originally bought it would do the upgrade but they said they didnt & it probably wouldnt make any difference. Were they wrong. Thanks OWC & Amazon & Binh Repaired & all the others placing videos out there to help us.

> 24 hourFast service. Great option to give brand new life to a 2009 MacBook Pro. Owc’s website has good instruction to do the changeover. I found the T6 little screw driver needed to remove the old hard drive at The Home Depot.
