This is needed for extending your Harbor Freight solar kit. If you buy two, you can run the wires through the wall and have the charge controller and batteries inside the house. It doesnt really lose much power even being 16awg.

Bought two of these for use with solar panels that are 45 feet from inverter. The voltage drop was too much with two of these cables connected together. Moved inverter closer to panel and used one of these cables and everything worked fine. Should have figured out voltage drop before buying. However, I have two sets of panels and inverters, so I am still able to use both cable sets I bought.

I bought the wrong AWG size, the product description clearly states that this item is 16AWG and I actually need 12AWG. Not returning it

I haven’t used it much yet but the plug fits snugly at both ends for a solid fit.

Fast service and exactly what was needed. The reverse polarity adapter is necessary, for my application, and was provided with the cord!

this cord was quite surprising. It was much thicken than expected for the price as it almost seems to be about an 8 or 10 gauge wire. The connectors are well made at each end and it even comes with a gender changer in case your trickle charger has a different polarity. It also has rubber caps that fit well for each end when not in use, so the connectors are kept in good shape. I use it with a Battery tender for my car and it works great. Keep the plug inside the garage and the other end goes under the hood directly to the battery as I have a permanent connection with a female plug on the battery. NO worries in the rain. Great Product and Delivered on time and as described.
