The anode rod on the right has been in my rig since 2018, water always being in the heater but turned off during the winter. Still in pretty good shape. I replaced it with this new one (on the left) about 2 weeks ago. Never turned on the heater after this install. I decided to clean it out again today and look at the amount that was eaten away in just 2 weeks after install. You can see at the front its quite worn away and the old one is still in pretty good shape. I put the old one back in. My old one was in my rig when I bought it in 2018. I want to try and find the maker of that one. It looks very good and has done a great job. As for the new one, I wouldnt purchase again.
