Splurge for the shark bites, it’s not worth the time and frustration too but these, almost every single one I used leaked

These work great. I used to repair a leak in a 60 year old copper joint. Cut out the leaky fitting, slip this new fitting over the copper on one side and pex on the other. No more torch and solder.
