Got this on recommendation of a friend who had just moved. We were moving and used it so much more, on so many items I was surprised! We wrapped things in some sheets or towels or bubble wrap, and then wrapped that package in the plastic wrap. It helped keep things protected and the inner wrapping in place. We used just the plastic on pictures, tvs, lamps and there was plenty to use so we wrapped things many times. They all made it to our destination without breakage or incident! On a side note, I would DEFINITELY advise buying the handle tool that you use to help make the plastic unroll easier. We didnt and it made the job much harder than it had to be. I wished wed spent the extra $25 for the hand roller!!

This product is garbage and it is not 55 Gauge thick. POOR POOR product and description is false.

Exactly what we needed

We used them to wrap a lot of the soft surface and oddly shaped items when we moved. It is really thick and clings to itself well. The rolls were apple to cover a king size and a queen size mattress plus 8 dining chairs and two counter stools. Additionally, we covered several lampshades, some throw pillows and a couple of other things. All of that, and we only used ONE roll. I highly recommend it!

Its perfect for us however sometimes it splits/tares making it hard to unroll it evenly.

This is a great plastic wrap if you’re just wanting to use it for yourself other than that if you’re planning on hiring a moving company. You could just wait for them to show up since it cost so much money and have them wrap your things rather than you. When I called the moving company, they said they supply the blankets plastic wrap and anything else that’s needed for moving but they also said if your things are ready to go as soon as we get there, the faster the process can be since they do charge by the hour good luck

Just received our order and compared it to some other 18x1500 80 gauge shrink wrap we have. This is NOT 80 gauge shrink wrap and its NOT 1500 ft. It tears very easy and compared to the other roll of 1500 ft shrink wrap it looks to be about half or maybe 2/3 the amount. Theres a reason why its listed cheaper.
