This tape has worked well for shipping our heavy boxes, which typically weigh 30 to 60 lbs. We find the product quality as good or better than other tapes, including that from Uline.

PROS: Sticks great. Economic. Good thick. Doesnt shred. Large roll. Clear. 2 wide (ok, maybe 1-15/16 if you eyeball it really close). Dispenses from the roll well. No static. Quieter than some. CONS: A slight odor, but not as bad as some and it dissipates quickly. The only REAL con is that its a wee too large of a roll to load on my dispenser with the cover but I have no issue with the handheld with the handle and the entire roll is exposed. Its about 3 or 4 of tape too thick to fit in the covered dispenser. so I start it on the hammer/handle style for a bit then switch. Its not that the core hole is too small but that the tape is roll is too wide across - more is better so Ill deal with the 3-4 excess thickness and will definitely buy it again.

I use this tape for packaging on a daily basis. Heavy duty items too. My favorite aspect of it is the adhesion. Sticks and stays stuck. Not a cheezy product by any means like many others I have tried. Ive used both the 2 mil, and the 2.5 mil. Strong as hell. This is a quality product for businesses who need top of the line packing tape without the BS. You try one roll and you wont go back. And dont think this is some BS paid endorsement, its not. I will be the first in line to smoke a company or a product on a review if it deserves it, but when credits due, I give it. PackStrong does it right, 100%

When it comes to 3” wide packing tape, you can pay over a hundred in getting just a few rolls and if you’re a commercial application that uses this every day, it can really hit the bottom line. This tape fits the bill in meeting the 3” roll size we like with being much easier on the wallet. Keep in mind this isn’t gorilla tape but it doesn’t have that price point either.

We use a lot of packaging tape and this is the best one we have found.

The tape is so thin that lengthwise tearing is a constant problem when simply trying to pull the tape off the roll. Likewise, the edges rip and pull off after the tape is affixed because of how thin this is. Very disappointed.

I purchased these rolls of packing tape because of the “extra long” feature thinking I was getting a cost saving. I am accustomed to using these off-brand rolls as refills for the red plastic holder that comes with a different, more expensive, brand. However, the extra length on these rolls makes it impossible for them to fit the holder. The core is the right diameter, but the amount of tape on the roll keeps the holder from closing and the tape roll fits so tightly that it won’t turn. This is not a problem with the quality of the tape itself. It is my mistake for assuming this brand would fit a holder from a different brand. I’ve done it many times before, though, with no problems. Struggling with tape that is not in a holder cancels whatever money is saved especially when much of the tape is wasted because it doesn’t come off the roll evenly. I am now in the unfortunate situation where I will have to use each roll off the holder until several feet of tape is used up. At this point, I can’t return the rolls, but next time I will be sure to buy rolls of the proper length. Just a word to the wise.
