We used 2 of these padded car seat covers for our toddler car seats when flying roundtrip. We decided to check the car seats at the ticket counter instead of at the gate. We were concerned our car seats would be damaged in going through the baggage loading/unloading process but both car seats and these padded covers were in great shape throughout both flights. These were used for a toddlers front facing high-back booster seat and a younger toddlers rear facing car seat. Both fit great in the bag and we were even able to pack the rear facing seats mirror and a few lightweight jackets in the seat as well. Another thing I liked about them is the backpack straps. It really helped when we were unloading the car or carrying our luggage to the car rental desk. Since we also had 4 suitcases, a stroller, 4 back packs, a lunch bag, and carry on bag... having the straps on these car seat bags really helped! I highly recommend these seat covers for ease of use and keeping your car seats from being damaged when flying.

Used it one time and already showing drastic signs of wear and tear however, still giving 4 stars because we all know how luggage is handled by airlines. Nonetheless, the design in durability should account for that.

Just received it and it fits my Nuna Rava perfectly. It seems like it will hold up well. I do think there needs to be more padding on it, hence the 4 stars. That being said it is the only one I can actually find with padding that isn’t just a drawstring bag. Hopefully it holds up through travel. I’m probably going to pad it inside honestly, wrap it up in pillows or bubble wrap to protect my seat.

I use this for a trip traveling from New England area to Mexico. Took about 6 flights my whole duration out. Also I was traveling with a toddler. I liked that it’s pretty much a back pack. It allowed me to be able to carry the car seat keeping my hands free (sort of) so I can push the stroller. I’m a petite person so it does look a little funny because it’s just a huge backpack. Also there is plenty of space in it. I have a Graco Convertible 4-1 (not fully aware of what it’s called) but it fits in there with extra space. Space is great to store extra items. I stored extra diapers packs, wipes, and blankets. Which also provides at cushion for the car seat to minimize damage. It looks okay for what it is. It’s not my aesthetic but I mean it served its purpose. What I didn’t like about the item. Well I recommenced maybe lining the inside back area. Like where it leans against your back. The reason why (could also be because I’m short) when you wear the backpack after a while you can feel the bottom of the car seat start to feel like it’s jabbing into you. It makes it comfortable wearing it. I mean I didn’t have to suffer the pin for too long because I checked the bag in anyways. The other thing I disliked but also doesn’t brother me too much. At the end of all the flights I noticed that at the bottom (the area where that car seat jabs you in the bottom back) had a hole in it. It could be from handling and all that. The hole was the size of a golf ball. Luckily nothing in it was small enough to slip out. All items inside were still in place, I had maybe like 1 broken item. The hole doesn’t bother me as much because I don’t travel a lot. For traveling alone with a toddler it really helped out. I should add that family came back with me and they also have a toddler. Unfortunately they didn’t have a car seat carrier. They just dragged their car seat as is. Which I guess isn’t too bad because the parents can help each other out. Again I was alone with my toddler so I don’t see that being managed very well with an active toddler.

Great product. Made well. Fit car seat perfect with extra room for anything that wouldn’t fit in suitcase. Definitely buy if you need a travel bag for car seat.

Well, I didnt expect this bags maiden voyage to be its last! The baggage folks at American Airlines made quick work of this bag. It had a sturdy zipper and decently thick material protecting our infant car seat, but no matter, AA can break anything. They ground the zipper handle down to a nub, melted the zipper teeth together and tore a very stylish hole in the top. I had to tear the bag open with my bare hands to get the car seat out at our destination. After all this, our Nuna infant car seat came out without a scratch! So I give this car seat bag a 5/5 rating. It was very durable for the price that I paid for it. (AA paid to replace the bag and I got the exact same one again). Im not sure why there are pictures showing a man wearing this bag comfortably on his back - it does not feel good to have car seat resting against your spine. While convenient to carry on your bag, I would not recommend wearing this for more than the 15 minutes it takes you to check your bag in at the counter.

A blanket beneath the seat remedied this. Great backpack otherwise; I would recommend that the manufacturers add some extra padding in that area for future versions of this product. Better for the seat inside and the user. Fit our Cosco Scenera with extra room for toys for the flight and snacks inside. If taking through TSA, be advised that you will be asked to take out your seat and don’t forget to unclip the security strap. Great feature!

We have used this on 2 trips now, 4 flights total and it has been perfect! There is plenty of room for our Chico infant carrier, and it is easy to carry with the backpack straps. We wanted one with a zipper so when we fly we can stuff this bag full of diapers, life jackets, dirty clothes, toys, etc., without taking up space in our luggage! Worked great!

It doesnt come in a storage bag for when you arent using it BUT it doesnt kill your sholders or back when you use it. For that reason, it is my favorite style we have purchased for our car seats.
