PAINT HARDENER 3.5OZ 12 pack

This stuff works. I was able to dispose of approximately 20-30 gallons of old paint.

We moved into a new house and the previous owner left us 10+ gallons of paint…so I needed to harden them all before I could toss them. Enter these great little packs of hardener. I made sure each can had at most 2/3 and added a packet. Worked quickly and made my life so much easier. I was able to harden all the paint and put the cans out that night for trash collection.

Was sent only 1 pack although description stated this was a 10 pack. Be careful what you order or you will waste your time like me.

The product does indeed work as intended. It will solidify paint and make it easy to dispose. The problem is that each package advertises the ability to treat 2/3 gallon. I found that it took 2-3 packages (depending on paint type) to properly treat a single gallon. My 12 individual bags should have treated 8 gallons and I barely treated 4.5 gallons. Bottom line is it does work but you need more to treat as advertised.

says 3.5 oz, envelope will harden 2/3 of a gallon. I used 1 1/2 envelopes to try and harden 1 quart - still not hard. Save your money and use HDX from Home Depot. Its cheaper and works much better.

This stuff is fantastic if you wanting to get rid of old paint. It absorbs quickly as promised. Well worth it.
