This blending medium is excellent and will keep the colors you blended true to their vibrancy and not leave them dull or chalky. I highly recommend if you are going to use PanPastels, which are excellent btw, you need to have this.

This was my first experience with Pan Pastels, but Im a professional artist. I used this on Strathmore bristol, and Im very happy. Ive applied with the Sofft tools made by the company that makes Pan Pastels, and Ive also used brushes. This product goes on smoothly and is very forgiving. I absolutely will continue using Pan Pastels!

Just as described! But unfortunately I dropped it when I was unwrapping the packaging:/

I do a lot of scrapbooking, and this works perfect for the shading of the eyes! Will be buying again however this should last me a long time!

The PanPastel chalk is amazing. The box it was shipped in was big and they had enough bubble wrap in there to protect it in shipping. Mine did not break apart like some people said theirs did. It covers very nicely on either light or dark papers. To get the best coverage use a card stock with a rough surface so the chalk has something to adhere to. I use Bazzill card stock for the best results. You can use a smooth surface paper, but the intensity of the color will not be as great. I also us a make up cotton round that is soft to apply the chalk to my project. It works great and they are cheaper to buy than the art sponges. You can use the chalk wet or dry. I prefer dry, that way if you make a mistake you can erase it. If you use it wet and make a mistake, you can still erase it but you will have a residual chalk line left. There are so many options to do with this chalk, it will never get unused!

I have been using soft pastels for 30 years and these are by far one of the best. The colors are vibrant, mix well and go on smoothly. They work on most surfaces including vinyl and composition as long as you pre-set with Mr. Clear. I would highly recommend these pastels!

I purchased this along with the titanium white which I have not received yet and Im going to compare it but Im pretty sure the individual package is supposed to have a seal around it it didnt occur to me until after I took it out of the bubble wrap and unscrew the lid and saw a little smudge Mark like someone put their finger there that I realized there was no plastic seal I honestly dont know theres supposed to be one like if these are supposed to be pulled from multiple packets which Im okay with but it was definitely touched before I had opened it. Regardless the pigment is nice and Im actually using it to help color my hair I found a good system especially for dark hair to use a combination of soft and oil pastels along with color hair spray to make it look more natural

Pan pastels are really beautiful to use. I am new to them. This was the first of a group of pan pastels that came broken up into small pieces. I am hoping it is still workable in that condition. Dont know if it broke up in the shipping process or was send out that way.
