> 3 dayThe Daily Renewal conditioner for dry hair is a thick cream that is easy to apply and soaks into wet hair. It has a mild scent. I leave the conditioner on for a few minutes as instructed. It rinses clean easily and leaves my hair feeling smooth and soft. It doesn’t feel weighed down and is easy to style after using the conditioner. My hair looks better longer between washings. My hair is smooth but I still have plenty of volume. I really love the conditioner.

Greater than one weekI like that this Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal Pantene Conditioner deep conditions in just three minutes—long enough to shave the legs and be done. The fragrance is warm and classically Pantene, meaning it’s neutral enough for a man or a woman to use. The texture is slick and creamy, and it rinses leaving behind a slightly softening texture. My hair is super soft and has a high shine after using this product. Overall, it’s one of those daily conditioners that soaks in deeply, and yet, doesn’t weigh the hair down.

> 3 dayI have thick straight hair. Lately it has been cold and the air has been dry and my hair has had a lot of static. After using this conditioner my hair is softer and doesnt tangle as much. The conditioner is easy to use and coats the hair really well. My hair is a lot softer after using this conditioner and it doesnt have as much static. I prefer this conditioner to Pantenes Repair & Protect Daily Conditioner. **If you found this review helpful, please click the ‘Helpful’ button below.

> 3 dayThis is an amazing product but for some reason, when purchased on amazon, it’s watered down. There’s less and it’s significantly more watery. For the same price as the store, I will stick to buying it in store.

> 3 dayThis conditioner helped improve the look of split ends on my hair. I have not had a haircut in over a year due to Covid-19, and my ends need all the help they can get. This stuff really does work. I use it sparingly and focus mostly on the ends, so I dont weigh down my roots.

> 3 dayPrior to recently trying a number of other products, I was using this exact conditioner. I was led here as I have always been satisfied with Pantene products. Having used the other two, I will cut to the chase here. I found the Pantene was much better than the Aussie conditioner, but it was at par with the Herbal essence Argan oil conditioner. The Herbal Essence was actually cheaper as well, half the price of the Pantene. Will I switch? I don’t know yet. I have a lot of conditioner to go through and many weeks will help determine what I end up using in the long run. However for those of you that want to start with one of these three, you might try the Herbal Essence first and save some money. Strangely the Amazon ad for this product does not include the ingredients. These were listed directly from the bottle itself. Some people are really particular about knowing what is in their beauty products. INGREDIENTS: **** Water* **** Stearyl Alcohol* **** Behentrimonium Methosulfate* **** Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone* **** Cetyl Alcohol* **** Dicetyldimonium Chloride* **** Fragrance **** Benzyl Alcohol* **** Di-Sodium EDTA* **** Histidine* **** Citric Acid **** PanthenylEthyl Ether **** Methylchloroisothiazolinone* **** Methylisothiazolinone* At the time I received this product, I was trying two others. **** Herbal Essence Argan Oil conditioner **** Aussie Deep Conditioner with Avocado * SAME INGREDIENTS IN THE HERBAL ESSENCE UNIQUE TO THE PANTENE WAS: **** Fragrance **** Citric Acid **** PanthenylEthyl Ether While both products list Fragrance, that is more of a “hidden” ingredient as it is not specified. People who are very sensitive to ingredients, do not like this generalization. These are the three conditioners info that I tried out. Here are the price comparisons. Price at this time on Amazon is Aussie Deep conditioner with Avocado----------------$0.31/oz. Herbal Essences, Repairing Argan Oil Of Morocco Conditioner ---$0.29/oz. Pantene, Conditioner, Pro-V Daily Moisture Renewal for Dry Hair, -------------$0.62/oz. The Pantene is the most expensive of the bunch. HOW I USE HAIR PRODUCTS, SO YOU CAN COMPARE But first the boring stuff. My routine and current products are important to know to consider if this product will be right for you. I have a lot of slightly beyond shoulder length hair. It was oily when I was younger, but now it tends to be a bit dry. Recently a hairdresser was pushing a hair product (keratin) for moisturizing, as well as conditioning. My hair has a fine size, coarse texture, but I have a lot of hair. About 2% grey, the rest is my natural color, never dyed. In the winter, the heated air in the car and house dry my skin and hair significantly. Add in a hair dryer and straightener and it is even worse. NORMAL REGIMEN AND HOW I TESTED THIS: This is my normal regimen to date: Monday: Wash twice with Pantene Pro V shampoo and condition with also Pantene Pro V conditioner. Before I dry use Argan oil in my hair. This really helps with static in the winter. Wednesday & Friday: Wash once with Pantene Pro V 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner and use Pantene Pro V 3 minute conditioner after. I dry my hair all 3 days. Then Monday through Friday use a straightener to get my hair to look smoother. I don’t have even wavy hair, but I dry my hair with my head forward and my bangs end up weird. The ends of my hair end up all over the place. Also on the days I don’t wash, I get dents that the straightener gets out. So I get heat damage from the dryer and the straightener. Essentially what I did to test the other two products is to substitute the Pantene deep conditioner for the other two conditioners.

13-06-2025Im kind of a snob when it comes to hair care products. My fine hair is a nightmare -- not baby fine, but silky fine and just thick enough to be weighed down by its own volume. Most hair conditioners leave a greasy residue on my hair that weighs it down even further. So, Im a huge fan of silk amino acids and other ingredients that leave my hair silky and conditioned, without the weighted greasy feel of oils, etc. This 3-pack advertised the moisturizing aspect and made me think it could work for me. To my great surprise, my hair came out not only silky, shiny, and smooth, but added bonus -- it still had great body and no greasiness. Its a miracle when I get good conditioning without my hair being over-conditioned so that it just lays flat. This is the curse of fine hair. So, although Im currently using my favorite conditioner on a regular basis, Ill also alternate with this moisture renewal conditioner. It smells fantastic -- orchid vanilla I think. Although Ive used only one Pantene product in the past, this product makes me anxious to try more.
