I used to love their volumizing products, but I think they may have changed the formula? my hair is very fine and this conditioner made it feel dry and tangly - which is what usually happens when I use keratin. from what Ive read, too much protein can make some peoples hair have a gross texture. this conditioner does not claim to have keratin, but perhaps the collagen plumping has the same protein like effect?

Ive been using Pantene for forty years, and was horrified when none of the local stores were carrying the conditioner any more. It is cheaper in this form, and the packaging is bigger, so maybe it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I buy this shampoo and conditioner often in the store because i like how it makes my hair light and volumous, and it dries very quickly after washing. This product, however, ordered through Amazon, is not doing any of the things the product usually does. It takes forever to dry my hair and it is not showing the volume and lightness and shine Im used to. Will not order online any more. Will buy in the store instead.

My hair goes hopelessly flat when I use regular conditioners, but its thin and fine and breaks easily so it needs all the help it can get. I tried the companion shampoo to this conditioner and really like the lift it gives my hair, but worried a little that it might be drying--didnt notice that, but to be proactive, I decided to try this companion conditioner as well. Its great. I still get the nice lift from the shampoo, plus my hair is manageable and feels healthy. Today, I colored my hair (which is really drying) but I know from experience that the conditioner that comes with my hair color leaves my hair even more flat and limp than usual. It wont even hold a style. I decided to try this conditioner instead, and am I ever pleased. I have none of the extra dryness that usually results from coloring, but still have nice lift, body and sheen. It seems like I get all the advantages of a conditioner without the disadvantages. Im really pleased with this product and recommend it to others with thin, fine hair.

Perhaps, I was used to seeing these same style bottles in a larger version for many years. It took me by surprise when it arrived and the size to me looked different right off the bat. It does say 12.6oz bottles. I guess, being used to seeing these Pantene Pro-V in a larger size bottle for many years will you throw you off like that. Could be, that these are specially made sized bottles for the “internet shoppers” or amazon shoppers. After all, they are 6 bottles, and imagining 6 bottles of the large Pantene Pro-V bottles you normally buy at your local grocery store will last you years... I know I was thinking this before the amazon package arrived:) The list price was $23.04 but I did use a $5 off coupon to bring the price down to $18.04 plus sales tax. Which comes out to around three dollars per bottle. Shipping was free and 2 days via my prime membership. I took pics next to can of coke so you can visualize the size comparison of these bottles. Overall the product is very good and have used this brand many times in the past. I’m gonna give this review three stars as considering everything with the smaller size and price, I would say it’s ok. I still recommend you check your local grocery store. You might find a better deal there with the larger bottles and a coupon. But hey, I tried this once and now I know to check also my local places when I next need to stock up on shampoo. Hope this helps. Update March 4, 2018: I’m giving it an extra star as the smell is actually really good.
