Paperblanks Azure Journal

What a beautiful notebook. Know whether you need blank pages or lined pages, but if you like blank pages- this is for you for sure!!!

I bought this for my husbands birthday. He writes music and I wanted him to have something special for his new ideas. It is really a beautiful item and he loved it.

Looks exactly like the picture. Very pretty cover, excellent paper, nice wide writing area (Im a lefties and sometimes bindings get in my way). My first Paperblank journal, but probably not my last!

The cover is lovely; an old-school charm to it. I love the clasps; they have a satisfying click to them. The paper inside is heavyweight and the binding is excellent. This was a gift for my daughter, who is a bit of a journal aficionado, and on opening it she gasped, A Paperblanks! How did you know? Those are the best journals around! - so I guess I done good. :) She is thrilled with it and is using it for an art journal. A win!

I just received this book and after inspecting it I ordered another pocket sized edition. The craftsmanship appears to be really good. The Cover feels solid but has that soft leather feel of old books. It opens flat on a table and there’s no sound of cracking glue or anything which happens with a lot of notebooks like this. The paper is heavy and clear of defects. The pages are all consistent. The metal clasps are magnetic and open/close very smoothly. I’m not sure how well it would fit in a bookshelf with the clasps because they stick out a little but I’m not planning on keeping it on a shelf anyway. They are pretty thin though and pressed into the cover so I don’t think they would easily get caught on anything. There’s a single page marker ribbon. I would have liked if there were 2-3 but the single ribbon is fine. Overall I think this is one of the nicest and high quality notebooks I’ve ever held. Highly recommend it.

This journal was exactly what I wanted and what I had hoped for. The clasps are magnetic and stick occasionally, but that could also be from the hot weather. Otherwise, not a single complaint!
