> 24 hourThis box it made of thr thinnest, lightest, cheapest wood ever. The metal ring that fits into the entry hole is slightly too large and wont stay in it. It is also super sharp on all edges. My birds ate this whole box in 2 days. It is now unrecognizable and will not be usable. Totally not worth it to me.

> 24 hourBoth mom and dad fit comfortably inside. This was the first fertile clutch, and I’m nosy, so I cut the end piece out to be able to check on them more easily. They nibble here and there on the wood but it’s been about 6 weeks and it’s still doing its job! Droppings get kicked around and go through pine sheddings from the babies, a lot got to the bottom wood, so I line it with paper towels and change daily to try to preserve it better.. but other than that it’s great. Holding 3 babies and parents.

> 24 hourSignificantly too small for cockatiels, and dont forget, the male is going to want to widen the entrance. This isnt possible with a metal grommet around the entrance. This box might be okay for parakeets but do not get it for cockatiels.

> 24 hourThis item isnt a heavy nestbox like most are. The problem is I think the metals they used could be toxic for the birds. The wood is thin, which could break if dropped. Not much I can do about the metals used... Its a nice looking nest box though...
