Parking Pal Car Magnet, Keep Kids Safe Around Vehicles

My son is 2.5 and has a habit of running off. While I always make it a priority to put him in the car first, sometimes my hands are just too full. This is great for those times. We practice using it at other times, when I can see how he will do on his own and he does great. He loves putting his hand on the purple hand and talking about the fish. It totally buys me the extra 20 seconds I need to get him safely in the car. This is a great product and a great idea. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to keep their toddler safer in the parking lot.

I love this product!!! It gives such peace of mind when unloading the car with a toddler! She learned to use it within a day and has never protested against it. The bright colors hold her attention. She even talks to her fairies :) Magnet holds well but not overly strong. I recommend this to anyone that has kiddos!

Great!! I love being able to just tell my kids hand in hand and they put their hands on the magnet and just stand by the car. Great idea and it stays on really well, even while driving through woods and tall brush.

This is a really cute idea for little kids. I have a 4 year old and an 18 month old. I normally get the 4 year old out of the car first and then I would have her hold onto my leg while I got the 18 month old out. But now I just stick this magnet on the car right next to where I stand to get her sister out and she sticks her hand right on it while she waits for me. She thinks its fun and I know that she is staying in one place. It stays on the car great and I like that it isnt a sticker that I have to worry about ruining my car. The fact that it is a magnet also makes it nice so that I can move it if I need to.

I slapped this on our car and it worked perfectly to keep my toddler in place while loading/unloading. Unfortunately, it disappeared after only a week or two. I contacted the company and got the following response with an offer for a 50% discount on a replacement: Our magnets are made is the USA and should stay on a vehicle during all weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, sleet) and during high speed travel. (However, it will come off in a car wash). My guess would be that it was stolen. The only solution I have for that would be to stick the magnet into your purse/diaper bag when walking away from the vehicle and stick it back on when returning to the vehicle. I have heard of some people who do this and it works well for them. I think that is great customer service that I wanted to share - though I did decide against a replacement until I move to a neighborhood where its less likely to be taken again. Id rather not deal with the hassle of removing it after every trip. Our window was recently smashed as well, for no apparent reason other than pure vandalism. Unfortunate that our experience with a great product was tainted by sub-par humans.

We bought one and my 3 year old autistic son almost immediately understood that he had to touch his hand to the hand on the magnet. It was great... until my husband took the car through a car wash and it fell off. We have another magnet on the back of my car and its never come off, so it never dawned on either of us to take off this one off (which was on the side of the car behind my sons door) while we got it washed out. If it would have stayed on, I would have given 5 stars. But we are ordering another one because it works. Well just know better for this time to take it off before washing the car!

Its great!! Too bad theres very little metal on my car for this magnetic disk to work, but the 3 yr old loves it. The only place it will stick is the flap tgat covers my gas tank.

I have 3 year old twins and going anywhere in the car has always been a nightmare since they refused to stay by me when I was loading and unloading them into the car. This magnet has been a definite help. Now my kids fight over who gets to put their hand on the magnet while the other is loaded or unloaded. I feel like they are much safer since we got this product. It stuck to the car well and survived a trip through the car wash with no problems.

Works exactly the way it should and it helps remind my kids not to run off as soon as we park the car out in public
