good value, works fine, and easy to open bags

Ive been using GoodSense storage bags for years. Theyve always been a pain to open, with questionable durability. These Party Bargains Bags are really great. Durable, and very easy to open.

These bags are sturdy and come out of the box easily, individually, without bringing out the entire wad of bags. They also open up easily with one hand. Highly recommend.

Im a little unclear why these are a bit pricey, but they are still my choice over zip type bags. I use this size and the smaller size with Twixit bag clips and no longer use zip type bags for regular or freezer storage. In my experience these are more reliable than zip bags for air tight storage and protection from freezer burn when properly sealed.

I bought these bags to line a small compost bucket I keep on the counter next to the sink. The dimensions seemed as if they would be generous and fit over the top edges without a struggle. But the measurements are skimpier than listed and the bag is very thin, which means that trying to stretch the bag over the edge causes it to often tear. Barely fits. Unfortunately my supermarket stopped carrying a generic house brand of bags which Ive used for years - heavier, more generously sized.

The bags are good, but didnt know that they had ties instead of zipper closures. Didnt see that listed when I bought them.

My store used to sell these. Great when Im just storing something but dont need a thick (more expensive) freezer bag.

Not all plastic bags should be zip type. These are great for getting the air out and storing odd shapes.
