This review is for the PATHLANE Kids Helmet Unicorn Bicycle Helmet. OK, this is one of the cutest bike helmets I have come across, and our younger family member was immediately thrilled with it as soon as they saw it. It is a bold and beautiful unicorn, with big bright eyes, colorful multi-colored hair, and of course the horn. The overall look of the helmet is a really nice matte finish, with all the colors painted on in a spray-art style. The design and the finishing paint touches are well-done. It also comes with a nylon mesh backpack-style bag for ease of storage and transporting. The helmet itself is stated to be CPSC and ASTM Safety Certified. It has a good shell thickness, with soft pink-colored padding inside, as well as a ping nylon adjustable chin strap, which also had padding. On the back of the helmet is a turn-dial crown adjustment, which can be used to get a proper snug fit on their head, and adjust as needed when they grow. We are thrilled with this helmet for the fun design, great styling, and of course the safety functionality.

Worn by 5 yr old girl, who says its very comfortable. The back has a click adjuster, so fit to head is easily adjustable. One downside is that the chin straps adjustment is limited by some extra material wrapped around the webbing as a comfort layer -- to get around this limitation, in order to shorten the strap further, you need to remove some of the comfort material. But once adjusted, fit is good. The helmet gets a lot of smiles from people. My daughter loves unicorns, so shes very happy with it.

Well made for the price!

My daughter loves unicorn and unicorn was her past birthday theme. We ordered this helmet to ensure that she wears it everyday while playing outside (than to avoid helmet). She loved it and she is now wearing it everyday. Here is what we have liked: 1. Unicorn horn is made up or foam like material so it easily presses in 2. Beautiful/ good looking 3. Sturdy/ safe 4. Rotating knob on back enables head size adjustment 5. Strap has a safety fabric layer on top 6. Strap is adjustable

Going on 8 months now with our daughter, no wear or tear to complain of.

Looks great, has same protections as other helmets on the market.

Helmet was light weight, but not durable.
