As I usually do with any new device, I trusted Crucial.com to not only identify how much storage my new Asus TUF Gaming F15 could take, but the size and specs for memory as well. And for the first time in recent memory, it let me down. Im not sure what the technical terminology is, but these sticks have the correct spacing between the pins to fit my laptop, whereas what Crucial suggested (at double the price) did not. The laptop runs beautifully; its super quick, no lag anywhere, and is generally a joy to use. Thanks Patriot!

Ok I got this for my Dell 14 Laptop which is now pushing 32 gigs ddr4 2400. Yes its overkill but why not.

This is a great purchase for my Dell Alienware 17 which already had 2x 8GB hynix pair RAM sticks

Added this on top of what was already there. 40gb now!

After upgrading to Windows 10, I found that the additional applications running in the background were always keeping my RAM usage close to >85% of 8GB, with an increasingly larger pagefile size, which made me uncomfortable. The quickest and cheapest way to solve my issue was with this Patriot 8GB PC4-17000 SODIMM! This stick matched the factory 8GB HP RAM timings and specs, and allows me to now run in dual-channel memory mode, all the while having 8GB more RAM for my PC. A total win-win, especially at this current price-point. I will update this if the memory deteriorates or fails, but so far, everything is performing well!

Fast shipping and does its job! My laptop was struggling and when I doubled the RAM with this DDR4 it made it run so much smoother. Make sure you know exactly what RAM you have prior to buying. I am so happy with my laptops performance once installed!! I highly recommend this to use in your laptop if it is compatible with what you are already running.
