We had to make the most difficult drcision to put our dog to sleep this past week. Scarlett was with us for 16.5 years. She had a long time with our family, but her health the last few years made her quality of life poorer. I told my husband that even still i couldnt just let her go because her senses were dulled that she would tell us one day when it was time. Friday came and her breathing was difficult so i knew whether we were ready or not she was. I made the call and then they told me to come on Monday. I had two days to ponder everything, so the only thing I could do to was keep busy. I thought about how we would like to pay tribute and disvovered your stones on Amazon. The saying was the perfect sentiment for how we all felt. I purchased this and received it as promised on Monday afternoon. It came in perfect condition and I am so glad that I purchased this when i did. After we put our dog Scarlett to sleep we were all in shock and devastated. My son who is 6 really didnt understand how to cope. We did not let him see the process and so he felt left out of her passing i think. We tried to comfort each other but when the stone arrived, we gave him the opportunity to place it where he wanted to.We explained this is where Scarlett was buried and he could visit her anytime he wanted to. He said afyer placing that stone and reading it he felt better. I believe its message was simple enough for him to understand and help him find some relief.
