PDP historically makes really solid products but this was unfortunately a miss. Let’s start with the pros. The materials and zippers are quality. The bag looks sharp. It was conceptually designed to hold everything I was looking for in a bag. Switch, games, headphones, pro controller, and a few other accessories. But that is where the positives stop. As far as the negatives go...I can’t recommend this case to anyone with a pro controller. Pro Controller The velcro strap puts a lot of stress on the pro controller’s right joystick when in it’s designated spot. I really don’t think they tested it with all the electronics in the case because the case won’t close with all of it in there. Accessory Pouch? w/ PDP Logo What I thought was a full pouch for extras actually was a bunch of wasted space. I am not really sure what this area was intended for in the first place. When pulling up the flap, it was half the size I thought it was. Case Build Simply put the case doesn’t zip closed when the Switch and pro controller are in it. There just isn’t enough depth to the case dimensions. I also feel like the inside and outside are backwards. When opening, switch logo side up, the Switch (the heaviest item in the case) is on the underside of the lid, which seems odd to me. I really wanted to love this case, but it doesn’t work as intended. It will be returned.

I have a number of different cases of different sizes, but none has given me what I really want--a case that can hold my Switch without removing it from its protector, and enough room to hold anything else I need it to. This case does just that: the removable (and incredible on its own) top case holds my Switch while inside its JETech case (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07457V4XJ, an awesome protector) while also still able to hold a handful of game carts). On its own its great as a travel case that fits in your hand. It also attaches securely (and I mean securely--velcro and a handle strap) to a bottom case that has enough room to hold the dock, Pro controller and cables or any other combination of accessories. Firm place-able dividers let you design a partition layout that fits your needs. I take spare Joycons with me on weekends along with 2 8 game cases and cords, so partitions let me keep them from getting squashed or even touched by other storage items. The outer walls are solid and durable, and it has a shoulder strap with pad. And on top of all that its good looking. This case blows every other one Ive bought out of the water. Great work PDP!

The bottom compartment perfectly stores my Hori Split Pad Pro, Pro Controller and charger.

I was looking for a storage solution for my switch that would allow me to take just the switch and joycons, but also store the extras when Im not using them. This case arrived in perfect condition and perfectly suits my needs. The velcro connecting the top pouch to the rest of the unit is strong and the adjustable dividers in the larger bottom section are padded to avoid scratching anything. The case itself is not super rigid, but would likely protect the device in the event of a drop. One suggestion would be to include a game cartridge case, as there are only 4-6 elastic slots in the upper portion.

The straps are a bit wonky. The short carrying handle made it harder to take the game unit case off and the shoulder strap doesn’t hook on the sides (instead opposite ends but front & back not on the sides) so it tends to flip over. Overall love it though.

Its a very large case. The good? You can fit your Switch, extra joy cons, extra pro controllers, cartridges, plugs, pretty much everything you need, and there are spacious internal pouches to hold it all. The bad? Its huge, which means its bulky to lug around. I only carry my Switch, ear buds, and maybe a cable. There is way more space here than I need. So, depending on your use this is either a feature or a bug. Im not going to ding it. It set out to be huge. It has a good handle. No strap, which is a bummer. I am dinging it for that given the size. The inside is a little discombobulated. The console straps in behind a pouch. It takes a bit to figure out where everything is supposed to go and nothing separates the Switch from the remaining contents of the pouch. I dont find that choice of design suitably protective. If I turn the Switch face in and try keeping, say a wall wort in there, the Switch could easily be scratched. If I turn it face out, thats bad for the joysticks. If I disassemble it and turn it face it, it slides too much. Im dinging a second point for the lack of good protection.

This little bag holds your switch, the controller, the cord, and several game cards. Handy and compact.
