> 3 dayI purchased this with the expectation that it would replace the duct-taped accordion eyesore that surrounded my a/c. Instead it reinforced the old sides and I was able to remove the dry-rotted black foam. All was covered with this easy to cut and install (the double faced tape can be tricky, but its neatness doesnt really matter) white surface which matches the a/c. I now have a better looking and operating, properly insulated a/c.

> 3 dayThis item definitely blocked a lot of the cold air coming in around the air conditioner. I found it easy enough to install. Im happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayRequires double sided tape (included, but messy). Thinner foam than I expected. Also comes rolled up, so has to be smoothed out before installed.

> 3 dayThis is a piece of foam with the white attached to it that is textured. It was easy to install and the clear tape is good. It looks nice and clean instead of a piece of gray foam.

Greater than one weekThis window unit works well enough. I made sure to buy one listed as capable to cool our bedroom size wise. However on hot nights it can barely keep up. So if you get this be sure to order one listed capable to cooling a much larger room than you have because they arent as powerful as they say they are. Also be prepared to order additional insulation because what it comes with leaves areas wide open to the outside you can fit multiple fingers through. But after buying a bunch of window insulation and buying a stand fan we got this working well enough.

> 3 dayI ended up returning mine it is very difficult for all the different measurements you have to put into the configuration of your AC in the window and getting all the cut outs done correctly. Then fiddling with the double sided tape which is almost impossible to get the film off of it to get it to stick. Does not look like it does in the pictures

Greater than one weekFirst of all it cannot be straightened out. Secondly, this is not something that will keep the air out, no matter how much tape you apply around it. I this this is a faulty, cheap item, that should not cost more than a $1.00
