A dungeon worth delving. This expansion isnt over whelming and offers a fun new region full of new adventure. Its fun.

The whole point of the original 2nd edition Dungeon expansion was to give characters who had fallen behind in the race to gain power, some chance of finding a shortcut to the Crown of Command. If you could traverse the Dungeon and make it through, you rolled a 6 sided die to see where you came out. Most of the places were pretty mundane but on a 6, you were transported to the Crown of Command. The new Dungeon throws this mechanic out as the only way you can get to the Crown from the Dungeon is to be overwhelming powerful. Seems like the designers did not understand the original main point/purpose of the Dungeon.

This is an expansion. You need the talisman actual game to play. The game is actually pretty easy to explain and learn. Boards are great quality and pieces can be painted to add a personal touch. This expansion is fun. Creatures are difficult but the treasures are worth the trouble.

Another really good Talisman extension. Comparable to the Highlands extension though maybe a little more difficult to get through - however when you do, its probably because you are about to win.

This was a gift for a player and he was very happy.
