I was excited to purchase this device when I saw it available but after receiving it, I’m not so impressed.

I want to love this case, but I had an expectation that it would be made of the same material and of the same quality as my Genuine Pelican cases. When I received the packaging, I noticed that these are made by Case Mate and are a licensed Pelican product. The cases do seem to stick well, but the quality of the material just doesnt seem like the Pelican I know and love. The plastic is flexible and not rigid. Overall I like the case, but worry that they will not hold up like my other Pelican brand products.

When I bought my air tags these were the natural solution to help me mount the tags to my pelican cases. I wish there were at a much better price $50 I could have gotten more AirTags… $20 feels like a better cost.

Our Sulcata tortoise escaped and went missing for two weeks. Once he was found and returned to us, we went ahead and purchased an Apple AirTag along with this case so we can track his movements. The case adheres to his shell with no issues and it actually amplifies the tone when you make it chime. Very happy with the case.

Much better than the cheaper silicone holders. I used the silicone holders for our family tv remote. My son kept peeling it off. I got this and it’s stayed securely on the remote for over a year, and I just opened it up to replace the air tag battery, easy peasy, just inserted a flat-head screwdriver in the corner with the notch, twist and the Pelican AirTag holder opened, and easily snapped back together after I replaced the AirTag battery. It included a second adhesive square, but I haven’t needed it yet, highly recommend. You can buy several cheaper silicone holders for the price, but if those done last, I can tell you that it’ll be worth the money for this one!

No instructions come with the item to say how to open them to insert the air tag. That said, there is a small opening to insert a screw driver and twist to separate the two pieces. They come with a sticker on the back already in place as well as extra stickers in case you need to replace them. They are a hard plastic. They are 1.5 inches X 1.5 inches square and .5 inches thick. I wouldnt use them in a wallet, too thick, unless you dont mind the thickness.
