I use this on my Milwaukee cordless buffer, works like a champ. Just be sure to buy the recommended 3M attachment.

We use these to polish motorcycles in a professional shop. Be sure to get the proper pad for the grade of polish you are using.

Works great with the quick release adaptor and ultra fine compound, as intended. The foam is super-soft though. Made the mistake of touching a spur to the pad to remove dry compound and it quickly started to chew the foam.
