> 3 dayI really wanted to love these. They had great reviews, so I’m unsure if I got a bad batch? All the individually-wrapped replacement filters looked in perfect shape but after 2 days’ use, I notice mildew build-up in the little nooks of my cat’s Veken fountain; this is highly unusual as the original filters that came with my fountain stayed clear up to 4 weeks with regular cleaning and I’ve never had a problem with mildew. I have already gone through 2 brand new Parner filters in the last 6 days and they look worse by comparison. My cat refuses to drink from his fountain since these new filters came in. For context, I’ve had my fountain for 3 months. I take apart the fountain for a good scrub and replace with filtered water every couple days. My cat has CKD and chronic pancreatitis, so clean water is a must.

> 3 dayThe filters are not washable and need to be changed out often. I have 2 cats and 1 dog drinking from the fountain. I dont mind the cost so much, because I want my pets to have fresh, flowing water.

> 3 dayThese filters are well made and do not leave charcoal residue in the fountain. Just rinse the filter before placing it into the fountain. I have two thirsty cats. Changing the filter every 2-4 weeks seems to work for us.
