Works great for us. The fabric is not heavy but it is dense, making It VERY dark inside the cage allowing our Mini-McCaw to finally get a good nights sleep despite the motion-sensing lights outside. The hand of the fabric feels a bit like a slightly spongy, almost velvety polyester. Almost like those old double-knits. I dont know how else to explain it, not my favorite feeling in a fabric, but I dont have to wear it so what do I care? Its not knit though, its actually a densely woven, but lightweight fabric making it easy to put on and off, especially with the convenient fabric handle at the top. The flap is a great improvement over the tie openings most covers have. And the overlap design of the flap where the sides are seamed together helps prevent any light getting in around the openings. Ive made my own custom covers before and I have to say I like this new design better. If I ever do make another cover, it will be this same design. But this is so cost-effective, why bother? I just hope our girl doesnt chew it up, which shes taken a liking to of late, hence my need for a new cover. At least its reasonably priced if it needs to be replaced. Overall, this cover exceeded my expectations and Im pleased with my purchase. Shipping was very fast, too. Received follow up email from the company with contact info. Seems like good customer service.

Black out

I had been taking care of a family members Sun Conure for a couple of months. They told me just place a dark sheet over the cage at night but that didnt work out! I would put the bird to bed around 6:00 p.m but the lights in the hallway were near the birds cage and I noticed the Sun Conure would move around and make noise especially when it heard any sound. After a few days I started looking on Amazon for another option as I didnt stress the bird out and there were a lot of options! After ordering this product the routine was the same. I would but the bird to sleep and once this cover went over the cage that was it, I wouldnt hear a peep out of the bird till the morning! The material is a strong quality and the handles on the top are a nice addition. The only negative here is the price and I do feel it could be priced a little bit lower but you get what you pay a top quality product! Thumbs Up! 5 Star Product

This is a nicely made cover that fits my flight cage perfectly. I like the front flap feature so I can slowly uncover the cage in the morning. The cover is easy to slip on and off, and I leave it clipped onto the back of the cage during the day. The material is nice quality and it feels like just the right thickness and weight for a cage cover. Highly recommended!

Great cover. It fits the cage great!! It is a light darkening cover that really does what it says. The price was great too!! So glad I finally bought one. In the past these covers have been 3xs the price. My cage is about 2in smaller that W and D The length goes just past the bottom cage drawer pull out. But a foot from the floor which is great. I dont like material dragging on the floor. VERY HAPPY and So is my African Grey Parrot.
