The overall product is fine but I am an experienced climber and found the vaunted anti-panic lock to engage very frequently when I wasnt in a panic. The subsequent maneuvering I had to do to get the lock released so I could continue descent was more dangerous than the initial locking event. I sent it back for an older model without the panic feature.
