Philips 415794 Indoor Flood 50-Watt MR16 GU10 Base 120-Volt Light Bulb,Halogen, 3-Pack

All three bulbs blew out within 3 months. first time running into this issue with philips products.

Its a light bulb. It lights up. Yay.

Not sure if we got a bad pack, we bought these back in july. We have a lamp with 3 fixtures and out of the 3... 2 bulbs burnt out within 2 months and with minimal use. We removed the 3rd bulb and bought 3 led bulbs to try instead... and those are going strong 6 months later. Maybe we got a bad batch?

One came broken.. Not worth the hassle to drive 30 miles to return it to the nearest UPS store. Think I’ll stick to buying bulbs in store.

I trusted other reviewers of this product who like them, so when one of our halogen bulbs burned out on our Zephyr brand hood, I bought this 3-pack of Philips LED flood light bulbs, and I am not disappointed. They are direct replacements for the halogen bulbs, went in easily, are brighter than the halogen bulbs that came with the hood, and run very cool compared to halogen. The light is a brighter white than the halogen, but not a cold white. Good price and value.

I too have had a bad experience with these bulbs. How do you know if it’s the fixture or the bulbs? I’ve seen many others raise that same question. It seems like every time I turn around, I look up and another bulb needs replacement. I don’t have that with other fixtures that use different bulbs. It’s particularly annoying because I have to call someone to replace them in my kitchen ceiling fixture every time there’s a burnout. Another fixture, with screw in halogen bulbs, does not pose these problems. It’s a very disappointing purchase.

I bought these to replace economy bulbs I bought to save some money. While they look the same, these are definitely better . They are brighter, have a wider radius of light and well worth the difference in price. I have them in parallel pendants over my kitchen island, and had to remove the bargain bulb, even though it was new, because the difference was so noticeable.

Works as expected. Good quality.
