Just FYI!!! These do not work for the avent anti colic system! I did not pay attention that they are the “natural” avent bottle nipples. So they didn’t work for me.

The only nipples my newborn will take

I’ve had to toss some Avent nipples because of collapsing due to a vacuum being created while baby is drinking vs air being released through the side vent. It’s happened with both size 1 and size 2 nipples, and it happens regardless of whether they’ve only been washed in hot, soapy water or if they’ve also been boiled to sterilize. Not sure why it happens with some and not others, or how to avoid this problem. It’s evident immediately upon placing into service, so it’s not that it’s a problem that develops over time and with wear. It’s quite frustrating when trying to feed a hungry, fussy baby, then having to stop to switch nipples hoping he won’t get too upset before all is settled. Altogether, I’ve probably tossed ~6 nipples. However, when they’re well-working nipples, they’re good. It’s important to mention that it’s also happened with those purchased from a brick and mortar store, not just those received from A, and it’s usually only 1 in a two pack, but not every pack has a bad nipple. It’s truly hit-or-miss.

As advertised, had a hard time finding size 1 nipples elsewhere.

We got lucky and were gifted a bunch of avent bottles from a friend. I didn’t realize their was a size 0, so I was using size 1 with my newborn and noticed she was taking in way too much milk. I found these online and bought a few packages. No more issues! They are durable and easy to clean. We are on size 1’s now that she’s a month old, but I definitely recommend and will be saving these for our next baby.

Just what I needed for my newborn and their Avent baby bottles. Ordered these when one of the nipples that came with a bottle of ours was having leaking issues. So far these haven’t had any issues and it’s nice having backups!
