> 24 hourAh, the pacifier. To be honest, not something I had to deal with when it came to my first. She hated then and aside from a handful of times as an infant never used them. My second is different — suckling is very calming for him, so pacifiers are a must. I love all of the Avent products. We have the glass bottles and nipples, I use the manual pump, and of course the Soothies from the hospital have been a staple. We also like to switch it up some and he loves these Avent pacifiers as well. The pacifier itself is well made. The piece that goes inside the baby’s mouth is soft, but well made so it is very soft and pliable but durable. What I love most about these is that they come in a case that you can sanitize the pacifiers in. You put a small amount of water in the case, stick the pacifiers in, and place in the microwave. This is SO helpful for a quick sanitizing session when I don’t want to either boil or break out the big microwave sanitizer or a sanitizing bag. Love my Avent products!

> 24 hourMy baby seems to hate pacifiers but wont go to sleep without my pinky in her mouth. We were gifted a set of these from the March of Dimes babyshower and so far my baby will suckle only on these ones. They dont leave indents on her face too which is nice. Will update as she ages.

> 24 hourAdmittedly, it’s been a long time since I’ve been around pacifiers. According to my mom, as a baby, I didn’t like them. No matter which one she got – I’d spit them right out. Funny story – I spit one across the room and made a “don’t do that again” face. As I said – that was a long time ago. Today’s pacifiers have changed – dramatically. PROS: ** Absolutely ADORABLE designs ** Soft nipples ** “Handle” to attach a pacifier clip/lanyard so it doesn’t get lost (the other end of the “clip” can attach to their clothing) ** STURDY Carry & Sterilizing Case (with instructions in the bottom of the case) that can be popped into a diaper bag, tote bag, backpack, or purse CONS – Only one to be honest: ** Case COULD leak in transit if NOT completely dry (this is a MAJOR issue in a way) ** Seem a bit small for a year old baby to 18 month old (1½ years) though I honestly got these for a baby project, but I can see why they are popular. They’d definitely make a great gift for the mama to be to keep the little one in pacifiers from birth to perhaps 2 years of age (as Philips has a 0-6 month version), or when the little one stops using them. They look sturdy, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

> 24 hourThe plastic containers that come with these pacifiers can be used for sanitizing by adding a little water and microwaving for three minutes with the pacifiers inside. The cases are thin and feel fragile, but they work well enough and double as storage cases. Our baby loves these and they seem to be the perfect size for 6-18 months as advertised.

> 24 hourI was gifted this pacifier when I was pregnant. Little did I know that it would be the only pacifier that my daughter will take. I have tried so many other pacifiers but this one is the winner!
